Norwich Youth, Family, and Recreation are teaming up with Dylan Howley of The Lefty Cycles Project to bring the Norwich community a Wellness event on Saturday May 20th from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Fontaine Track (Directly across from Kelly Middle School). The event will focus on wellness of all kinds, is open to all ages, and is completely free! The Wellness Walk portion of the event will feature 20+ community groups offering services, and resources, a live DJ playing family friendly music, as well as free chair massages, hula hooping, and face painting. Dylan Howley and The Lefty Cycles Project will be at the Rose City Senior Center (8 Mahan Drive) providing a safe place for children to ride their bikes. They also have staff who will be proving helmet checks, bike safety assessments and bike size fitting. In addition to the amazing safety checks they also have bikes that they will be donating to children on site! Dylan and his team will also be providing sidewalk chalk for the kids and encouraging them to spread positive and encouraging messages with their art.
