Horvat today announced that Dana Alexander Nolfe has joined the bank as vice president, marketing. In her new position, Nolfe is responsible for developing and executing strategic external and internal communications as well as management and oversight of all advertising, social media, public relations and media relations activities for the Bank. “Dana is a proven leader in her field,” said Horvat. “Her passion combined with her wide-ranging experience in virtually every aspect of marketing, communications and public relations is a perfect fit for Centreville Bank. We’ll rely on Dana for her strategic guidance, enhancing our brand positioning in business and consumer markets across Rhode Island and Connecticut.” Nolfe brings with her more than 30 years of experience across public relations, media and marketing in the healthcare, education and government sectors. Most recently she served as chief marketing officer at Rhode Island Medical Imaging (RIMI), Warwick, R.I. In that role Nolfe led the development and execution of marketing, communication, social media, corporate social responsibility and business development activities for the first outpatient American College of Radiology Center of Excellence in Rhode Island. Prior to that she was director of marketing, communications and public relations for Coastal Medical, Providence, R.I. Her career also includes senior communications positions in the higher education, communications and public sectors. Nolfe has earned numerous awards and speaking engagements for her communications work, including recognition from the PR Club Bell Ringer Awards, Healthcare Advertising Awards, Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), and the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD) with the Mayo Clinic. Nolfe is also a 2020 Providence Business News C-Suite Award recipient. Nolfe additionally serves as an adjunct professor of communications at Bryant University, Smithfield, R.I. She is also actively involved in the community as a member of the Board of Trustees for Festival Ballet, Providence and a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). Nolfe earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications Arts and Sciences, and Political Science from Queens College, Flushing, N.Y., and a master’s degree in Broadcast News Journalism from New York University.
