Benedict Arnold Returns to Leffingwell House Museum again on Sat. Sept 17, 11-3pm. Listen as Reenactor Kevin Titus portrays both sides of Benedict, the infamous son of Norwich, followed by remarks by General George Washington. There will be two presentations 11:30 & 1:30. Enjoy Living History presentations with Ye Olde Towne Lebanon Militia . You can explore the wares of the Colonial Suttler, Big Bear Trading Company. The Kingston Reds will be joining us with militia camp set up, muskets and drill! At 1pm enjoy the annual delivery and presentation to Norwich Mayor of the well coffined ‘Patriot’ Leg of Benedict by Flock theatre of New London. The Museum will be open for tours, $8, 11-3, last tour starts at 2pm. There will be a display of Benedict memorabilia, plus the sword of Benedict, on loan from the NL County Historic Society.
