FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE April 11, 2022 NORWICH HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND NORWICH ARTS CENTER HOST TRIVIA FUNDRAISER (Norwich, CT) - The Norwich Historical Society and the Norwich Arts Center present a Trivia Night at the Donald L. Oat Theater on First Friday, May 6, beginning at 7 pm. Have fun guessing rounds of historical, theatrical, and Norwich-oriented Trivia questions. Tickets are $25 per person. Gather your team and give us your team’s name at the door! Space is limited to 55 seats. There will be a grand prize for the winning team! Light refreshments will be available. ABOUT THE NORWICH HISTORICAL SOCIETY Formed in 2001, the Norwich Historical Society seeks to preserve, protect, and promote the rich history of Norwich, CT. We are a registered 501(c)(3), non-profit organization run by a part time Executive Director and a volunteer board of directors. Over the past five years, the Norwich Historical Society launched several initiatives designed to strengthen Norwich’s heritage tourism efforts such as opening the Norwich Heritage & Regional Visitors' Center and creating the Walk Norwich Trail system which is a series of historically themed self-guided walking tours. ABOUT THE NORWICH ARTS CENTER The Norwich Arts Center (NAC) was formed originally as the Norwich Arts Council in 1987 by a group of local artists and arts-lovers who were inspired by the region’s cultural possibilities. Our mission is to provide affordable programming in a variety of arts that reflects the area’s rich diversity and deepens arts appreciation. NAC is an all-volunteer run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in a historic building at 60-64 Broadway in downtown Norwich CT. We have two galleries on the first floor, offices on the second floor, and the 134-seat Donald L. Oat Theater on the third floor.
