FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 1, 2022 Leffingwell House Museum 348 Washington St. Norwich presents Leffingwell Season Opening! Sat. April 2, 2022, 11am-pm (Norwich, CT) - Join us at the Leffingwell House Museum on Saturday, April 2 for our 2022 Season Opening. We will be open 11am-pm. Brown's Company of Artillery will start the season off with a BANG! The Olde Lebanon Towne Militia will be presenting colonial Living History. No Leffingwell Opening is complete without the delicious Taste of Colonial chocolate by Chocolatier Robert Lecce. You will see the unique gifts that have been donated to our archival collection, such as the flask of Civil War General Birge, a collection of 1800’s kitchen gadgets, the portraits of John Durkee, Capt. John Coit and Rev. John Tyler. These and other items will be on display for Opening Day. Tours of the Museum are $8/pp, children five and under free, last tour starts at 2pm.
