RSVP has partnered with Easterseals Rally Point to relocate the Norwich Veterans’ Coffeehouse to 24 Stott Avenue. This move is effective November 2nd and is designed to provide additional space to accommodate the expansion of the coffeehouse. Meetings will be the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 9-11am. The coffeehouse will continue to meet at the Rose City Senior Center during the month of October. RSVP truly appreciates the Rose City Senior Center and the City of Norwich for their generosity this past year. For more than eight years, RSVP has operated Veterans Coffeehouses in CT as a popular and comfortable place for ALL veterans and their spouses to meet, socialize, communicate and receive information regarding veterans’ benefits and services through state and federal agencies and programs. The Easterseals Veterans Rally Point Program serves CT Veterans and provides free life-changing services such as peer groups, employment and financial security, education and job skill training, VA benefits consultation and much more. “We are excited about this new partnership and bringing in more great speakers, helping veterans connect with information and services and enjoying good coffee and great conversation.” stated Gina King, RSVP Director.
