Stephen Coan and Stefan Ambrosch both set an example of how the power tourism attracts people and encourages business.” The first ever Ballast Awards will be presented to Mystic businesses representing all categories of membership within GMCC such as professional, retail, tourism, and services just to name a few. Those interested in nominating a business are encouraged to head to mysticchamber.org where they will find the official nominating form, criteria, and instructions. GMCC will be accepting nominations for these awards now through Monday, November 1st. “The Ballast Awards were created to acknowledge those business owners who help create balance within the Mystic community. Through their longevity, their ability to adapt and change, all while remaining part of the fabric of Mystic in both good and challenging times is something to be celebrated. – Bruce Flax, Executive Director, GMCC.
