FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 19, 2021 Contact: Amy Perry Perryamy1@gmail.com 860-912-0950 Thames River Heritage Park Foundation to Hold Annual Meeting New London, CT: The Thames River Heritage Park Foundation (TRHPF) will hold its Annual Meeting Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 6 p.m. at the Submarine Force Museum/USS Nautilus, 1 Crystal Lake Road, Groton, CT 06340. The meeting will include a report on new and existing programs for 2021, re-election of board members, and an update on new water taxi landing site at the Submarine Force Museum/USS Nautilus which is on schedule to be installed in 2022. Retiring at the end of the month after five years with the Park, TRHPF Executive Director Amy Perry will participate in her last annual meeting. Her succession will be introduced. Completing its 5th season the TRHPF operates a water taxi that links national and historic sites on both sides of the Thames River with landing sites in Groton and New London. Since launching in 2016 the Park has had more than 30,000 passengers ride the hop-on hop-off harbor cruise as well as the historic boat tours.
