The primary focus for the agency at this time is providing telehealth therapy and case management sessions for youth and their families, as well as creating important training & informational videos and resources to disseminate electronically to community members regarding mental health and managing stress. Additionally, some staff members are focused on creating ways they can continue to raise awareness about suicide and substance use prevention by developing at home activities for kids and families to do together that can be shared on their website and social media pages. NYFS Coordinator, Erin Haggan, LCSW is set up to do telehealth therapy sessions through doxy.me with Norwich residents 21 and under. This will allow for face to face sessions over the web. If families don’t have access to this platform, phone sessions can be scheduled. To schedule, please email her at ehaggan@cityofnorwich.org.
