For immediate release Second Anniversary Celebration Norwich, Connecticut Historic downtown Norwich-based Epicure Brewing will be celebrating their second-year anniversary this upcoming weekend. The business, a partnership between three local couples, started in 2014 when the team worked to develop recipes, a business plan and find an appropriate location. A lease was signed in 2016 and after a yearlong buildout process, the team was able to convert the former Norwich Bulletin printing press room into a 6,000 square foot brewery and taproom. Kerrie Thiffeault, a shareholder stated “I am really proud of Ken (Kerrie’s husband / the brewer), and it great to see how much he has grown as a brewer.” Shareholder Jenny Vincent added “Norwich has been great. The community and neighborhood have been welcoming and it is incredible to have the support.” The taproom “We’ve been really lucky to have so many amazing customers,” added shareholder Jobina Miller, “and it has been fun working the Connecticut Girls Pint Out, the Pink Boots Society, and Willimantic Brewing, to make fun beers.” The taproom will be open Thursday from 5-9pm, Friday from 2-9pm, Saturday from noon-9pm and Sunday from noon-6 pm.
