Extremely unprofessional, unskilled, and careless. We reached out to Mr. Handyman when the tile floor next to our sliding patio door broke through due to some water damage caused by the previous owner's negligence. We decided to take the opportunity to lay a new tile design and replace the patio door for which we were quoted $1000 and 1 day of work. In actuality, we ended up spending over 3x this and the job took 2 days.

The resulting look was well below what anyone would expect of a professional service with crookedly laid tile, sloppy/uneven grout, and an unleveled bowing to the whole thing.

To make matters worse, that section of the floor began to squeak and creak 1 month later. We raised this issue and they sent out someone to come and assess the situation. From there, it was determined that the initial handyman did not catch that the floor needed additional support installed which resulted in the bowing and squeaking. Subsequently, we were told that
the owner would need to come out and take a look as well in order to address this. Weeks went by trying to get something scheduled just to never have the owner bother to show up. The handyman that originally did the installation was sent back again to take a look at the issue and determine a resolution. Their proposed resolution? An automated email quoting us an additional $1062 price tag with the following stipulations: "Be aware that this may cause other issues such as tiles moving and failing, squeaks, wall cracks, and possible slider readjustments may also be needed. This will not completely fix the sag". So not only does this company not stand behind their craftsmanship, but they have the audacity to charge over $1000 not only to not fix the issue, but potentially cause more damage. We've been met with silence for well over a week now after replying to this quote raising our concerns.

Stay away from this "business" at all costs as they have no care for their customers and their operating practices are borderline criminal.

I used Mr Handyman for some Sheetrock work. I got a prompt appointment and he showed up
On time. Dean did a neat job, was very knowledgeable and the price was reasonable. I would certainly use them again!!!

Very pricey for the service. They took a long time to fix our window. Then when I called about the window taking so long they they all of a sudden found the part. I won't use them again.

I've never written a Yelp review before, but my experience with this company and it's owner, Courtney, have been an inspiration. Called and scheduled for a very small job. Booked earliest apt 2 weeks out for a two hour arrival window. Called 1.25 hours into that 2 hour arrival window to try to get a closer estimation of an arrival time. Was told someone would get right back to me. Some 30 mins. later, I called back and was told the prior job took longer than expected and the handyman was having lunch and would arrive at about 45 mins outside the scheduled time. Since the handyman was arriving outside the arrival window by at least 45 mins, and I had already pushed paid work and other tasks aside for the last 2 hours, I asked what kind of discount I would be offered to at least partially compensate me for my time. I was told there would be no such compensation. After being interrupted several times by the owner who kept saying "I hear you", I was told there would be no discount on the scheduled services. I was also asked several times if I wanted to cancel the appointment, to which I responded, I did not and wanted to keep the appointment. I told the owner to have a good day and hung up the phone. Now 1.25 hours outside the 2 hour arrival window, I called back and was told by the owner that since I hung up on her, she cancelled the appointment. For clarification, and out of confusion over the lack of professionalism, I stated "So you cancelled the appointment and didn't notify me?". Again, the owner falsely claimed I hung up on her, which she apparently believes is reason to cancel appointments and not notify customers.
While I didn't agree with the policy, I was not rude at any point in my interactions on the phone with the owner or her representative.
I will be sharing my experience with neighbors, friends and family.

Not enough time to describe my horrible experience. Just forget about it. Look at other options.
