OB-GYN Providers:  Our doctors and staff are committed to your obstetrics and gynecology needs. Most of our staff members have been with OB-GYN Services for many years and we take pride in our long term relationships with our patients and their families. OB-GYN Services consist of seven physicians, two nurse practitioners, and five licensed nurse midwives.

We routinely provide the following women's health services:

Pelvic exams • Pap smears • Colposcopy • Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) • Pelvic ultrasound • Hysterosonogram • Prenatal care • Delivery of normal and high risk pregnancies

Womens Health:  OB-GYN Services is now accepting Connecticare Medicare patients. Please contact us to make an appointment or update your insurance information.

Obstetrics:  Our Obstetrics practice is located at 330 Washington Street, Suite 340, in a separate office in the medical building at Backus Hospital. Our six physicians and four nurse midwives practice collaboratively. They are committed to safe, caring, and individualized care of our preganant patients. The birthing center is less than 100 yards from the office making it convenient for our patients to be seen by a provider when it is time to deliver. The Birth Center was completed in 1994 with 18 private LDRP rooms, Two C-section OR suites, a Level I Nursery, and our on call room. We are accredited with AIUM to perform Obstetrical Ultrasounds and have numerous resources available to patients to help them throughout their pregnancy.
