The purpose of this Council shall be to coordinate projects of interest to all Veterans Organizations (Member Units), their Auxiliaries (Member Units) and Veteran Support Organizations (Member Units) in the Norwich area. The Council shall foster Patriotism and Americanism so that all Veterans receive full recognition and respect from the people of the greater Norwich area.

~Iraq & Afghanistan Wars Program (August)
~WWII Navy Pilots Memorial Program (October)
~Veteran's Day Program (Every Other Year)
~Pearl Harbor Program (December)
The council also participates in numerous other events in the course of the year by request or invitation.
