For Immediate Release Contact: Alexa Shelton 860-215-9287 or ashelton@trcc.commnet.edu The Gallery at Three Rivers presents a series of two shows, “Three Rivers Visual Fine Arts Graduate Exhibition” at Three Rivers Community College March 29 - April 28, 2017 Norwich – Three Rivers Community College is proud to present the “Three Rivers Visual Fine Arts Graduate Exhibition,” a series of two shows featuring the work of 2017 graduating students. The exhibition will be held in The Gallery at Three Rivers. The first show is comprised of works by Kellie Dougherty, Alexis Gorham and Sarah Heikkinen. It opens with a reception from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 and will be on view until Wednesday, April 12. The second graduate show, featuring work by Jonathan Babb, Michael Bernardo, David Pefferman, Erin Washington, will open with a reception on Thursday, April 13, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m., and will run through Friday, April 28. [Please see attached artwork for both shows.] The artists in both shows will graduate in May with a Visual Fine Arts, A.A. The degree provides a strong foundation in the visual arts and a broad background in general education. As a transfer-oriented course of study, it often leads to enrollment in an art school or other baccalaureate institution. The Gallery at Three Rivers is located on the second floor above the main entrance. It is free and open to the public, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The exhibition will run through Friday, April 28.
