During your tour of the circa 1675 house, learn about making chocolate with Christopher Leffingwell in the Summer Kitchen, then experience a cocoa tasting in the Colonial Kitchen to select the Leffingwell cocoa recipe for 2017. End your tour by listening to the delightful tales and native lore of storyteller Morning Star. Come… visit History, at the Leffingwell. $5 Leffingwell House Museum 348 Washington St. Norwich presents Haunted History A Public Investigation with Arrowhead Paranormal Fri. Oct. 27, 2017, 6-11:30pm On Friday, October 27, go back into history at the Leffingwell House Museum with the Arrowhead Paranormal team. The house is frequented by a ‘dark man’ and a little girl named Sarah or perhaps Hannah, among others. Join the paranormal team and do an investigation where YOU get to be a paranormal investigator for the evening. You will use the tools and techniques that the Arrowhead Team uses. There are three time slots 6-7:30, 8-9:30, 10-11:30 pm. $30.00 adults, $20.00 for ages 10-18 (no one under age 10). Pay at the door (credit or cash) but reserve your time slot as space is limited. The main floor of the museum will be decorated to represent the Colonial celebrations of New England, the Southern Colonies and the evolution of our American Christmas. During your self-guided tour, Interpreters will be available in each room to answer questions and give Holiday history. Appropriate regional tastes of the season will be served as you explore the museum. Enjoy a visit with President William Harrison as portrayed by reenactor Kevin Titus. Browse the gift shop full of handmade tree decorations while listening to talented Pianist Dayne Rugh ‘tickle the ivories’ with seasonal songs. Come… bring the family and enjoy the history, the tastes and the music of the season at the Leffingwell House Museum.
