4 Types of Data Analysis 1/ Descriptive Analysis In this analysis you measure what happened. Example of descriptive analysis: -Actual financial statements -KPIs -Headcount reporting 2/ Diagnostic Analysis Here the goal is to understand what happened. This is where you drilled down, filter and use 80/20 analysis to understand the cause of what happened. For example, performing a Price Volume Mix analysis on revenue is also a diagnostic analysis. 3/ Predictive Analysis This is looking into the future to predict what will probably happen. This is when you forecast your cash flow for the next month or your production output based on a statistical model and adapted after manual review based on the latest business events. 4/ Prescriptive Analysis Here you analyse which factor to use to reach an output in a particular scenario. This is the hardest analysis to implement and therefore the one which is the least used. It focuses on finding actionable insights based on the combination of diagnostic and predictive analysis. An example would be a model suggesting the most cost and time efficient levers to activate in a website to convert more sales in order to increase the revenue of the week on a specific product. 👉 What type of analysis do you already use in your organization? ------ 🤖 Learn ChatGPT and use it to become more productive And secure your future against the rise of AI! How To Set Priorities Credits to Eric Partaker, follow him for more insightful content. ------ Here's the original post: Set priorities like a world-class CEO: Feeling swamped? You don't need more time. You need better priorities. This cheat sheet helps you cut through the clutter. 1. Start with your goals. Know what you aim to achieve. This will guide all your decisions. 2. Choose your tools. Select from the 9 I've outlined. Each brings its own strengths. 3. Prioritize and execute. Apply the tools to establish your plan. Then, take action. I've included something here for everyone: Individuals, Teams & Leaders. ✅ Eisenhower Matrix Urgent vs. important. Focus on what truly matters. ✅ Oliver Burkeman's 3-3-3 Method 3 things only. Keep it simple. ✅ Time Blocking Schedule time for tasks. Stick to the plan. ✅ ABCDE Method Rank tasks by importance. Tackle the A's first. ✅ MoSCoW Method Be clear on what matters. ✅ Kanban Board Manage tasks visually. See your team's progress. ✅ Warren Buffett’s 25/5 Rule Focus on your top 5. Dismiss the rest. ✅ Pareto Principle Focus on the 20% of effort that drives 80% of results. ✅ Theory of Constraints Spot bottlenecks. Fix them for better flow. Remember, it's all about making choices. Not everything can be a priority. Use these tools. Decide wisely. Focus and act. That's how the best in the world do it. ------- Follow Business Infographics to learn from the best visuals.

THE IVY LEE METHOD Credits to Véronique Barrot, follow her for more useful content. ------ Here's the original post: Productivity isn't magic. It's method. Here is a century-old productivity hack. It might be your key to unlocking a new level of efficiency. Ever heard of the Ivy Lee Method? It's an unsung hero in the realm of productivity. Here's why: 1️. The Art of Simplicity. The Ivy Lee Method is all about simplicity. Write down 6 tasks at the end of each day and prioritize them. Work on them one by one until each is completed. ➟ By keeping it simple, you create a clear path with no distractions. ➟ Regaining focus after an interruption takes around 23 minutes. ( Source: The University of California, Irvine.) 2️. Mastering Prioritization. ➟ Prioritization enhances performance. (Source: Journal of Applied Psychology.) 3️. Single-Tasking vs Multitasking. ➟ By focusing on one task at a time, you tap into deep work mode. ➟ Multitasking increases errors and reduces productivity. (Source: Stanford University). 4️. The Momentum Effect: Small wins, big victories. ➟ Task completion boosts confidence and overall well-being. (Source: Journal of Personality and Social Psychology). ------- Follow Business Infographics to learn from the best visuals.
